"Situé au bord de route vertigineuse de Combe Laval (qui donne accès au Vercors), l'hôtel-restaurant du Col de la Machine a tout pour séduire. L'hôtel est moderne et très bien tenu avec literie, hygiène et service impeccables. Notre avis sur le restaurant est plus mitigé. Le décor et le service sont très bien mais les menus n'offrent pas beaucoup de révélations, tandis que la carte est assez chère. Peut mieux faire, c'est certain !"

"Nous sommes allez manger dans ce restaurant le 25 décembre à midi. Nous l'avons choisi par hasard car peu de choix en ce jour férié mais nous avons été ravis. Le repas était succulent (tous les plats sans exception). Menu de Noël pour 39€ ce qui reste imbattable surtout vu la qualité. Un des convives qui n'aimait pas le menu proposé a eu droit à un onglet délicieux accompagné de frites que M. Champon a gentiment accepté de lui préparer malgré le menu de fêtes initialement proposé.Le service très agréable qui nous laissait le temps de manger et de discuter entre chaque plats. La serveuse n'avait pas l'air habitué (peut-être un extra en ce jour de fête) et nous avons du lui corriger sa fiche sur les vins (le Jurançon n'est pas un blanc sec ;-)) cependant cela nous a fait sourire et sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance nos ont tout fait oublier !Nous avons eu une table disposée en carré ce qui permet de passer un moment convivial en famille (nous étions 8).La décoration dépareillé et un peu froide est à revoir mais il me semble que l'établissement a changer de propriétaire récemment, peut-être que cela est en cours (petite touche de déco de noël à souligner cependant). Petit bémol cependant pour l’accès aux toilettes qui (malgré la pancarte) ne convient pas aux personnes handicapées (porte qui ne s'ouvre pas dans le bon sens et petite marche).En résumé nous pensons y retourner en couple, entre amis ou en famille."

"With this restaurant being number on TA and us being in Pont-en-Royans, we wanted to try their daily lunch (at EUR Too bad, they had already ran out of it by pm. I had the vegetarian menu instead (at EUR) My...first dish was delicious (goat cheese heated in the oven with walnuts and honey and a small salad The second dish was a rather small portion of gratin dauphinois with tomatoes and herbs which was also good. As a dessert I had nougat glacé which I didn't like too much. My partner had dishes from the menu (sea food entry and ravioles as main course We had a bottle of water (they serve plenty of different brands since it's the water museum after all) and Coke and glass of Clairette de Die. We paid EUR. Compared to the lunch at hotel du Vercors we had the day before, which was EUR for the of us courses, glasses of wine and a coffee and a Perrier) this restaurant doesn't really come with a good value for money label. Surely the food was good and we might have been better off with their daily menu, but when it comes to our own experience, then we'd recommend the Hotel du Vercors restaurant rather than this one."
