"These reviews were obviously all posted by staff. The food here is not authentic italian. it tastes like it comes from cans and packages. the service was poor. it took me 3 minutes to get greeted by a host and the restaurant was almost empty. the waiter who attended me was extremely inattentive and had a smug sort of detachment that I don’t expect from an italian restaurant. the fork that they gave me had dried lettuce plastered on it. it just doesn’t seem like a clean place."

"I’m usually not one to complain…but my recent experiences at San Remo Italian Restaurant in Boynton Beach have lent me to warn my friends. I love supporting local businesses and recently purchased a “Gift Certificate” from SouthFloridaDines.com. I love SouthfloridaDines.com…they support the community and provide a great service. I had previously tried San Remo when they offered a coupon in the Clipper magazine. The coupon was for 20% off off the total bill. My husband and I, knowing we were going to save a little, decided to splurge and indulge. We ordered drinks and apps, an entree each and dessert. The food and the wait staff were excellent. When presented with the bill we gave our coupon and were then told they would not be honoring it. After much discussion, the manager decided to “do us a favor” and honor the coupon. He really had no valid reason not to and made us feel uncomfortable. Because the food was so delicious, we decided to give them another try. We took our daughter anticipating the great Shrimp Risotto they offer. We were seated at 7:00 PM. We ordered drinks and entrees. Lobster Ravioli and Shrimp Risotto. We were brought salads and bread right away…then we waited; for approximately 50 minutes. The wait staff was prompt and attentive and apologized often that the kitchen was behind. The food, again, was excellent. So when SouthFloridaDines.com offered a gift certificate for purchase to San Remo, we decided to give them one more try. The only stipulation on the certificate was “dine in only.” This Saturday we took our friends to San Remo, anticipating using our gift certificate for drinks and dessert. Their desserts are delicious. Having had trouble with them before using a coupon, we presented our gift certificate in advance and were told we had to purchase an entrée. We explained that this was not a coupon, it was a gift certificate that we had previously purchased and the only stipulation was for “dine in only.” The manager took the gift certificate and came back…angry…and told us that “dine in only” means you have to purchase and entrée. We were so embarrassed in front of our friends…as we tried to calmly reason with her that dine in only means just that. It refers to eating in the restaurant vs. take-out. When we mentioned we would like to then just have our money back, she told us to call SouthFloridaDines.com and take it up with them, which we did. SouthFloridaDines.com truly the ultimate professional, credited our account immediately. Unfortunately the un-professionalism of San Remo Italian Restaurant: 1880 North Congress Avenue #190 Boynton Beach, FL 33426 (561) 732-4041, leaves us with nothing but disappointment. We will not be giving them a fourth chance."

"The first time here and decided on their breakfast based on their review photos. So at the moment you are going in you welcomed by a friendly host who sits on you. Once our server Ashley immediately greeted us and helped us with the menu to order what they are famous for, and of course we took their advice. We had the Florida waffles, and their blue berries stuff freeze toast as well as their raspberry once. Besides some eggs and bacon with sausage. Everything was delicious his unnecessary to say that we enjoyed every bite. Definitely a nice and welcoming place to have breakfast, even if it serves lunch. Maybe we'll make a trip again, but this time to lunch and see what else is good here! Keep the amazing work KeKes, and Ashley, stay sweet my love."

"Referencing a recent review made by @Allan _Amayah TvChanel this customer wanted extra rice did not want to pay extra for extra food . With this being said she has purposely written an awful review accusing of finding an insect in her food. Fabricated lies !!! This restaurant has been in Bussines for 26 years no one has ever made such an complaint referencing to her recent review I can’t believe someone would go out their way to come up with such a fabricated lie !"

"Not sure where all these great reviews are coming from. Our experience here was not good. The place is dirty (see picture). The woman working behind the counter was handling the register and touching the food, all without gloves. No one working there was wearing a mask. We asked what came with the wraps and were told about most of it. However, she never mentioned that it comes with french fries so we ordered a side of fries. Even as we were ordering them, she never mentioned both our orders already came with fries. We were there at about 6:30pm on a Friday night and there was barely a customer in sight. We still waited over 25 minutes for a simple order. Then, not unexpectedly, our order came out wrong. Even though they admitted it was their mistake, they never apologized, just acted annoyed, as if it were our fault. Of course by the time we got the corrected wrap, my tiny order of french fries was cold. You would have thought they would have at least provided a fresh order since it was their mistake. My wrap was just okay, my friend liked hers. Overall, not a great choice."
