"Shan Palace is by far the best and only place in Abu Dhabi that offers a glimpse into what real Chinese fine dining is all about. The ambiance is wow, gold coloured carpets, wood panelled walls with traditional red lanterns and fans on the wall with Chinese motifs everywhere give it that intimate Chinese dining room feel. The food is excellent, we were over last week to try their new Shang Supper Club series and were absolutely delighted with the food. It's a four-course set menu that changes every day, three appetizers, a soup, four mains and a dessert. We loved the spring rolls, the clay pot beef short ribs and the Hong Kong style chicken. It's a must-try place, great for special occasions."

"I loved every restaurant in Shangri-La during our stay and especially the poolbar, as the service is great and the drinks are very good. I usually ordered cocktails or fruit cocktails at the pool and while I spend time on the beach. the cocktails were presented mainly the virgin colada in the cocosnut dish. in the evening it is nice to relax and talk about drinks at the pool and to smoke some shisha, which in many taste directions and a nice opportunity to spend evening. on the menu there are also foods like salads and small bites. I love the hotel and the bar and will definitely visit again."

"Went for the Monday seafood night buffet which had a nice spread including lobster, shrimps, calamari, salmon and seafood pasta among other dishes they also have a nice grills corner, a Moroccan corner, sushi and an indian section. For desert the waffle area really stands out but you can also find the traditional Um ali, pudding and sweets. our waiter Mohammed samir was really attentive and welcoming."

"Staffs 5 5 Ambience 5 5 Food 5 5 Price To start off this restaurant has amazing Laksa Lemak noddles, very good egg noodles. We also ordered Hong Kong style Ho Fen, along with soybean and some dim sums the difference of food in noodle bowl compared to a traditional Chinese restaurant is fairly little and they did a really good job decorating the rooms with ancient artifacts! I would love to come back next time!"
