"Für mich war es heute sehr schwer, die Pizza zu testen, da es mein Erster und auch letzter Besuch sein wird... Nicht weil die Pizza schlecht ist, sondern das Handwärch schliesst zum 30. Juli für immer :'(Des Öfteren war ich auf der Suche nach einer Pizzeria, die neapolitanische Pizza anbietet und bin daher auf das Handwärch gestossen. Was macht eine neapolitanische Pizza so besonders? Eine original neapolitanische Pizza muss Büffelmozzarella, San Marzano Tomaten vom Fusse des Vesuvs haben, Mehl Tipp 00 beinhalten und sollte bei über 400 Grad in nur 3-4 Minuten in einem Holzofen gebacken werden. In der Regel hat eine neapolitanische Pizza einen 1-2cm hohen Teigrand und ist sehr luftig. Nun zur Pizzeria: Das Handwärch ist eine Pizzeria, die ihr Restaurant in einem Altersheim im EG hat. Sie ist immer nur Ende der Woche ab Donnerstag geöffnet. Das Konzept war, authentische Pizzen "neapolitanischer Art" (da kein Holzofen vorhanden) anzubieten. Neben Salate, paar Desserts und Getränke werden sonst keine anderen Speisen angeboten.Ich wurde herzlich an der Kasse empfangen, denn man zahlt erst und bekommt dann alles an den Platz serviert. Das Personal war immer sehr aufmerksam und hatte ein Lächeln auf der Lippe, obwohl das Restaurant in ein paar Tagen schliesst... ein komisches Gefühl. Zur Pizza, wie bereits erwähnt hat das Handwärch leider keinen Holzofen. Auf dem ersten Blick bemerke ich auch, dass die Pizza nicht so neapolitanisch ist. Dünner Boden und tiefer Teigrand, eher klassisch vom Aussehen. Aber bekanntlich zählen auch die inneren Werte! Und damit kann die Pizza punkten. Man merkt schon die Frische der Zutaten, die Tomaten schmecken sehr intensiv und süss tomatig. Der Teig ist dünn, sehr knusprig und auch nicht verbrannt. Geschmacklich hat mich die Pizza sehr überzeugt, denn auch noch einigen Minuten ist der Teig immer noch recht knusprig. Nun zum Fazit: Auch wenn sie optisch nicht viel mit einer neapolitanischen Pizza zu tun hat, geschmacklich kann sie auf jeden Fall mithalten. Für mich war es eine sehr gute Pizza, zu einem fairen Preis für Schweizer Verhältnisse, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass die Zutaten sehr hochwertig sind. Das Traurige an der ganzen Sache, diese Pizzen werden bis einschliesslich 29.07. noch gebacken, danach ist das Handwärch Geschichte! Ich wünsche den Mitarbeitern alles Beste für die Zukunft!-"

"Our family had dinner here the other night. There was a fantastic selection to suit all of us. The pizzas were a great size for our kids and my Husband and I enjoyed Kebab and Falafel. The staff were really friendly and the food arrived...beautifully presented, hot fresh and large portions. Would definitely recommend"
