"I had my birthday party at the Graffiti Grill with 30+ friends and family. The casual atmosphere of the Grill was perfection! We had access to the indoor and outdoor seating and a parking lot. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was like having a party in our home, without the cooking, keeping the buffet dishes hot and plentiful, renting chairs and dinnerware and most important, clean up and washing dishes! Kenny and Laura were so accommodating and creative with the whole planning process. The food was so delicious and was enjoyed by all. Favorites included the Bacon-wrapped Scallops, Stuffed Mushrooms, homemade Potato Chips, and Kenny’s infamous Brownies and Lemon Bars. No need for cake! I would highly recommend the Graffiti Grill for your next party or catering in your home. We also enjoy the Graffiti Grill for breakfast or lunch. The best pancakes and BLTs!"

"Been coming to this landmark restaurant off on for well over 20 years now and never gets old. Not just a Lake Bluff favorite but a county favorite and even a Chicagoland wonder. Superb all around menu with a fine beer/cocktail/wine menu as well. This venue is not only bolstered by it's exceptional customer service but indeed has delicious food (especially the pizza) and a cool sports bar. The SILO is always busy whether it's flooded with takeout orders at lunchtime during the work week from customers of many nearby businesses like Abbott, Abbvie, car dealerships, etc. and any days they're open lunch or dinner. Always glad to support a local business and I wish the owner(s) continued success and prosperity."

"My husband surprised me overnight. From the second we drove up, the staff was impeccable. Political, gracious and welcoming are three words bound to our entire experience. We have a blow that I will reach, but I am still over this place and would return at any time. Our room was updated after check-in and it was nice, quiet and relaxing. The room was immaculate, even the door lock hardware gleaming. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well ordered and the minibar had top shelf choices at reasonable prices. The afternoon tea service was excellent and very charming. I've never done that before and my Hubby came through for me. Service was excellent and Rikki was on her game! The food was delicious and also the tea. We came back to dinner at 8:00 and we had the same table and our new friend Rikki as our server. That was the best meal we had for years. Everything was top notch and the portions were big. I was so pleasantly surprised. When we came back to the room, the turndown service had happened, including my phone charging cable tied in a Deer Path Inn band! Breakfast was another story. Coffee was excellent, but we had to ask for sweeteners. Instead of taking a tray from one of the empty tables, the server went back to the kitchen to get one. The coffee was cool when he was taken to the table. The coffee was still delicious and often refilled. The OJ was great. Breakfast was unusable. The conjured beef cock strength was small pieces of meat, which was mostly fat. I pulled all this away to get to all vegetables on the ground. The English muffin that should come with the court did not make it on the table. The servers were not a place to find, and when you arrived, they saw that I brought the meat out of the plate and pushed my meal aside, they said nothing about it. I asked for an English muffin and thought maybe I misunderstood the menu. The muffin was brought. But no butter, no knife when I asked about these things, the server went back to the kitchen a few minutes later with butter and canned food, then went looking for a knife. When the knife showed up, the muffin was cold. Now I mentioned this misstep to the concierge and they took the meal out of the bill. My hope is that the breakfast server will provide additional training, all that is necessary to overcome the situation that has happened. Breakfast aside The Deer Path Inn is a must for a romantic way!"
