"This happens at many McDonalds but I don’t typically have issues when I return. I drove my $60,000 car to pick up food for my girlfriend and I paid cash and wasn’t given a receipt). After driving home I realized we didn’t get one of our fries so I drove back. There was a man talking me now originally a woman). He told me I couldn’t get a simple medium as if I drove all the way back with my entire meal now cold) just to get a free medium fry that cost less than $2 with a meal. I had the entire meal minus the fry. People on the mainline don’t drive around all night scheming to get a free $2 fry. I spent more in gas coming back, but it was the attitude and complete disregard for what seemed to be common sense. The customer is always right, especially over a stupid feud. It was not busy, at all, however I understand they’re closing. He could have simply asked the woman who took my order instead of arguing and wasting both our times. This has happened to me dozens of times and you’d think I’d learn to check the bag) but it never amazes me how easily things are overlooked.
