"We visited Punta Del Hidalgo in March and many restaurants were closed. We tried La Caseta in spite of some negative reviews we had read. Our experience was so good that we came back 3 more times. The menu is extensive and varied with many choices for seafood and meats, and the local Canarian options were the best. For me, the lapas (limpets) were a real treat, and the sepia/cuttlefish was perfectly prepared. My wife especially enjoyed the seabream. In addition to the restaurant menu they also have a full bakery on site with a how can they do all this selection of cakes and pastries. Oh, and the view from the restaurant and patio is spectacular too. When we first arrived it seemed that the restaurant catered to locals (which I think is a good sign), but the waiters and waitresses were very friendly to us and by the time we left we got hugs and offers to help us arrange our next visit to Tenerife. This is a great restaurant and you will enjoy it if you make the effort to treat the team with friendliness and respect."
