"We recently went out with friends to the Tamam for dinner. It was our first time there and we'll look forward to going back. The whole meal was absolutely delicious, from appetizers through desert. I especially enjoyed the mutabal ( eggplant dip) and mujaddarah with roast lamb. Added bonus- very nice owners and servers!"

"The restaurant had a good selection of Greek beers. The appetizers we had were the calimari, pita with 3 dips and dolmades. Excellent. We also had main courses of spanakopita, vegetarian moussaka, and lamb shoulder. All were well done. The service was prompt and friendly."

"Small waffles, not overly flavourful, hence the need for sweet or savoury toppings. Savoury waffles are a bit weird - not what you'd expect in terms of taste, but also not bad. Just different. I had the morning poached egg dish which was the relatively small waffle with poached egg on top and the rest of the dish was a green salad. So it was at least healthy. My wife ordered the banana with Nutella which is hard to go wrong. Very good, but again, small portion size compared to what you'd get at IHOP or De Dutch Pannekoek House. Also, they erred and brought me a Chai latte when I asked for the Matcha latte. I should've just taken the Chai as the Matcha was awful and seemed to be hastily thrown together since they took so long to get our food to us. Staff were very nice and friendly. Prices a bit steep given the serving size, but a good deal if you get the Groupon offer. Overall my wife and I were not impressed with this place but willing to try it again, perhaps for their signature sweet waffles next time if it's later in the day (we were there for breakfast)."

"The bakeries around the Metro area are mostly Chinese, with the exception of Manzano. I was craving some Western styled sweets today, so while shopping, my friend and I came by for an afternoon snack. <br/ <br/ The bakery is a small shop, but there's a small designated seating area outside. We got three items to share. First was a slice of Blueberry Yogurt cake. This has layers of spongecake, whipped cream, yogurt and gelee, topped with some more whipped cream and a blueberry. This was pretty good, not overly sweet and the yogurt was very smooth. (4/5) Next was the Pear Torte. In comparison, this was a lot sweeter. We thought the pastry was also a bit dense. (3/5) The lemon pistachio biscotti was so fragrant with the hint of citrus, but the texture was slightly too soft for a biscotti. (3.5/5)<br/ <br/ Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5"
