"Ate here as part of a stay en route back to the UK. Fabulous food. We had foie gras and open ravioli of prawn to start; a MASSIVE tomahawk steak (36 euro) and the Saint Jacques/ Prawn dish (20 euro) for main. Kids had the children’s menu (12 euro) which was good. No room for desert! Beautiful local wines including a gorgeous Cremant. Not cheap but I would say excellent value for money."

"Back from a prolonged weekend in the Meridional Vosges, we were looking for a place where lunch at a pleasant price when we returned to the Plat Country (even if it is not really in our region. We found the Salamandre Tacheté because of the blunder of the old establishment. Very good surprise. The service stopping normally at 13:30, our arrival at 13:35 could have been sanctioned with a refusal. That's all. Another couple even arrived a few minutes later and was received with the same attention. Installed on the terrace, we took advantage of the setting. A visit inside confirmed the quality of the reception and sanitary equipment. With regard to the kitchen, a better surprise: hyper-locaux products (less than 30 km from the producer and even some coming from the garden! , hyper-fresh, mostly organic, with well-adjusted and hyper-creative flavour agreements, worthy of a much more expensive establishment, even for the formula at 15 EUR per person with input, dish and dessert. The surroundings would deserve a little more maintenance, but it has nothing to do with the experience. And that doesn't hide anything, a beer card to meet our expectations."

"This little gem is located in a beautiful remote opposite of a forest, but easily accessible, allows them to get back in contact with nut nature. very spacious rooms, beautiful people and eat. I can't blame. ideal to go, but. not... wait to be in the position to visit much more around, it is in the middle of nowhere!"
