"Very clean, eating came fast, although difficult to understand, the young lady called the order numbers and her understanding of English was not very good when I asked about serviettes, since it did not know in the donator she unfortunately did not know what I asked, I am sure her language skills will improve with the time, overall a good kfc, we have to go to cardiff gate until I read the reviews here"

"This is a recently opened store but as it is a franchise should offer consistent quality at all its stores. I have eaten KFC in many towns around UK and abroad but this was the absolute pits. The chips were horrible soggy and overcooked, the...batter on the chicken was far too thick and hence not cooked through and the chicken was only just about cooked enough, in fact we recooked it at home to make it vaguely edible,popcorn chicken was not too bad but the Coleslaw and gravy was OK!! I probably should have taken it back but it had been a long day, which was why we bought the food to save cooking at home. I might be tempted to give it another try in a few months time unless I hear more adverse comments from the locals. Such a shame as we were looking forward to the store opening, hope they can sort it out or I guess it will not stay open for long!"

"Nice clean place to stop for an ice cream along the esplanade, selling Mr Whippy ices New Forest flavoured ones. They even do an ice cream sundae for £3 plus hot cold drinks etc. The staff were friendly there's a water bowl put out for visiting dogs to enjoy. Lovely to just sit outside watching the boats sail by while eating an ice cream."

"I am local and normally order from the other chinese in Cowes but sadly it was closed. This has to be the worst chinese curry I have ever had- thick, gloopy 'gravy ' sauce that tasted of flour and salt and the meat looked like it had been hanging around for goodness knows how long! I won 't be going back and fear that I might have an appointment with the toilet later!"
