"The restaurant was pretty dark on this rainy day and I passed it 3 times before I saw the black board advertising the lunch special. After easy parking across the street we entered the restaurant, decorated with traditional farm and craft tools of the area. A 3 dish lunch was offered for EUR13. Since this special, and some other dishes are made with turkey of which I am not too fond, I chose a dish with roasted marrow bones. The other speciality of the place are dishes with morels. The EUR13 dish was excellent with a very fine morel sauce and the bone marrow dish was very well done and very good and contained more marrow than I ever encountered. A small piece of local Morbier cheese rounded my order.Railroad fans will like the unusual track lay-out of the area railroads and eye glass fans will like the areas history of the eye frame center of France."

"A log cabin setting with large windows overlooking the mountains of Haute Jura. The plate of the day was very food and the menu was interestingly varied and for all tastes. The wine is always excellent."
