"Not everyone is a fan of stinky tofu, but if you are, don't miss this place. I walked out there over one of the 30* buses on a weekday to go there as a vegan friend based in Taipei recommended it very much. It is open in the afternoon when most veg*n restaurants take a break that was a buck for me since I arrived at 3:00. Only another customer came by while I was there, and he ordered delivery. To make the trip worthwhile, I tried both the signature of stinking spices tofu soup 牌Þnahe, a small order with three pieces and the fried stinky Tofu 腐ю. Both were excellent in their own way, but I could not stop thinking how wonderful the fried version was executed as if it were an art work. The tofu was cut into thick triangles, and they were fried exactly on the right horrors on the outside while maintaining tenderness on the inside. The sweet, picky cabbage and sesame paste have paired well with them. While it was, I also ordered the kinmen vermicelli Gold門麵線 and an extra order of cabbage, i.e., Taiwanese kimchi, containing paid supplement. For spices you can sample their sesame ginger paste and super-spicy chili paste from the self-service area along with some hot tea. You also have soy sauce and black vinegar when they are to your taste. If you enjoy what you taste in the restaurant, you can also buy packaged versions of their offers to take home and heat up without going all the way to Shalu. As I indicated with the Kinmen vermicelli, there are other items on the menu that are not stinky tofu, which are quite delicious. Give them a try if stinky tofu isn't your thing. I would also recommend this meal with some sights nearby places like the Tai Seachungport Art Center and Gaomei Wetlands."

"The personal who worked on the fried sweet potato ball half this combined ständer was really friendly, and we chat one because when he freshly kicked a batch of these lovely chewing desserts. he asked if I wanted to take part in the Mazu-Pilgerfahrt, which started the same evening. I had no idea that it was postponed until this evening in 2020 because of the pandemic: I thought it was totally cancelled! I have my own schirr and asked no spies to eliminate any generated waste. I'm wondering if he's got a few extras. an order is NT$20, and three orders cost only NT$50, but I think that would have been exaggerated for me too. I am glad that I stopped in shalu on the way to the taichung seaport art center and gaomei wetlands. I'm not big on grilled mochi, so I can't comment. but they looked pretty good."
