"Disgusting staff members looking greasy and rude. Our food was under cooked and cold. No staff member wanted to talk to us as I approached counter to get a new order and they refused to give a refund or money back. See a group of people coming in I’m assuming they were family as hugs were exchanged. They all sat down food and drinks were flowing out of the kitchen. These people didn’t even look at the menu or ask for anything. They will look after their friend or family but not paying customers. Oh I added the wings I got that looks like something out of a babies nappy. Disgusting and not cooked!!!"

"The Burrito Bar South Brisbane. Beginning its sprawl from Rosalie to nearby the cinema at South Bank, the Burrito Bar has taken a logical step for where to be to get clientele. Much like the other competition around town, it is beginning to realise how much Australian residents have become accustomed to Mexican and not what is actually Tex Mex. This should be seen as a good thing overall, the Burrito Bar is still pretty good with some setbacks.<br/ <br/ Before seeing a movie, I went here with a friend. <br/ <br/ As much as it has improved the concept of Mexican, it is still a fast food version good but it will never be the real thing. The ingredients are relatively fresh and I did not leave feeling greasey or too bloated. Commendations will be given from branching out from the tortilla style foods and into other Mexican dishes like ribs and corn; there is also an interesting fusion in some dishes such as nacho fries. Which leads to what I had.<br/ <br/ I tried their Torta, which is a Mexican burger. The filling I chose was chorizo. This was pretty good quality overall and was like eating a buritto in burger form. It did get a bit monotonous aside from the smokey flavour of the sausage. Along side came some fries which had a drizzle of chipotle mayonaise which was tangy and quite good. <br/ <br/ Although it was to share, I got to try most of the beef nachos which were fantastic and a big meal on their own. It was piled high with guacamole, salsa and delicious slow cooked beef. The chips were tortilla instead of the packaged and overtly flavoured ones from a packet, and felt fairly light eating them. <br/ <br/ To drink, I tried the tamarind variety of the Jarittos soda. This is a brand I actually really like, being served traditionally in a glass bottle and without the scary corn syrup. It had a slightly sour taste to it that is a far cry from the sweetness of lemonade or cola. <br/ <br/ This place is alright to go to if in a rush before seeing a movie. It might be a default place in the future."

"2 stars to give, because always eats almost as if they don't care about quality. I have 2 broken legs and decided to get my Mexican kitchen delivered, I literally live the next street from the restaurant. it took an hour to get to my apartment and when I tried to eat it, it was freezing. I threw 3/4 of the food and threw up the rest. thank you for taking 60 dollars of my geld. absolutely disgusting."

"Friendly service and quick food preparation, but my Beef Street Burrito from the Burrito Shack wasn't very pleasant The Burrito consisted of Beef, Black Beans, Cheese, Rice and Salsa wrapped in a Flour Tortilla. The Beef was nice and tender, but lacked flavor. The black beans were wet and the cheese didn't melt, so every bite was cold in the middle. Similarly, the cold Salsa was applied directly to the rice making it cool and wet. seconds in a sandwich press would have improved this burrito immeasurably, but wouldn't have addressed the flavor issue. As it was, this rated a"

"Not only is this place a rip off, the food was cold the drinks were poorly made and tasted gross.Not only that the people working at this current time are unhelpful or equip to work in this type of place. Would give this a 0 if I could wouldn't waste your time or money."

"Only noticed this place whilst driving past the other week managed a visit at last. It is close to the road end of the mall they do street tacos for 5, which makes a healthy cheap cheerful lunch. The shells are the soft kind there is a vegetarian option-black bean. There is a choice of salsa so I opted for the spiciest of course it was topped off with coriander onion-just delicious"
