"Nous avons été très bien reçus, malgré une réservation assez tardive pour 8 personnes. La formule à 15,80 et le menu à 17€ sont très bien : entrecôte ou onglet, truffade, dessert, cuisine traditionnelle auvergnate simple et bonne.Et l'accueil est vraiment très sympathique, avec un patron qui nous a fait passer un repas dans la bonne humeur. C'est un endroit où je retournerai avec plaisir."

"What to say, very good reception despite a more than late reservation (15 min before our arrival) a hearty dinner has local products, a very friendly and attentive waitress. Very good prices for quality products, this is our first visit to the Falgoux but we will surely return because for several years Cantal is our fetish destination for holidays, landscapes and inhabitants are Top. "Après une visite des Burons de Salers nous avons fait étape dans cette auberge sympathique au premier abord. Arrivés vers 13h20 on nous annonce 20 à 30 minutes d'attente. Rien de dramatique en période estivale et à cette heure un peu tardive. A partir de là plus rien ne se passera comme prévu. Entre erreurs de commandes ( 2 sur 4), discours dépités de 2 saisonniers, coupures de courant (au moins 3), des plats servis n'importe comment ( une personne servie et les autres 10 minutes plus tard), bref la catastrophe. Le pire dans toute cette histoire est la malhonnêteté de la responsable qui ne fait que rejeter sa responsabilité sur les employés qui eux se démènent. Nous sommes finalement partis énervés vers 15h00 et pour certains, la faim au ventre. Au final un endroit à fuir. Les restaurants ne manquent pas dans le coin."

"A friendly bar/restaurant which is popular with both locals and tourists. There is a dark bar at the back with the restaurant tables in a covered glass terrace at the front, with more tables outside overlooking the village square. Traditional Auvergnat fare is served in generous portions and fairly priced. Service is very friendly and efficient. Locals told us this was the best place to eat in the village."
