"I used this because I could not park at my usual takeaway in Plainmoor (which is excellent). It had good service, fantastic onion bajees, disappointing chicken madras as the sauce lacked flavour and was watery, rice was fine. The starter of sheek kabab was really poor, poor quality meat, just dreadful. So, if I use it again I will be careful with my choice."

"I understand that this take away is now run by the people that previously ran the nearby Ganges which for years was our go to Indian take away YES!! The food is just as good as ever now they are here at the Bengal Spice, I had a veggie Balti which was great, take aways don't always get a veggie option right but this was excellent. The other meal was a Chicken Biriani which I was assured was also delicious. One thing I really appreciated was the option to use tinfoil containers I don't trust plastic both in terms of the health risk and also the terrible impact on the environment of all those plastic boxes here I just ask for tinfoil containers and that's it sorted and appreciate. This is now our regular Indian take away!!"
