"Have been sitting here for a family dinner shortly before Christmas and all had a great time. Eating was very nice, personal friendly and overall the place was great. Unfortunately, no pizza served lunch, which was a bit strange, but the children could find something else to eat, but the pizza was delightful. beautiful location next to the hole and good little walk around it to burn the food afterwards. recommend defo and back."

"Sorry that we only had a brief stay here arrived late in the evening, and despite the kitchen being closed they made us some lovely sandwiches and soup, washed down with a well required whiskey. Very comfortable nights sleep, view across the Tweed to Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott, and quite possibly the quietest hotel room we have ever stayed in! Had the full Scottish breakfast the next morning which was so good, and did defeat us both, and then headed off. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and made it a great, if short, stay. Thanks"

"We go in every week before doing our shopping and always enjoy the home baking. Occasionally have a meal too and have never been disappointed yet. Staff are excellent."
