"This place is a such a lovely treat : . My fiance and I went for cream tea here (next time, we'll pre-book after afternoon tea : and it was delicious. The tea and scones were great, with beautiful cup and saucers used. The place is decorated very thoughtfully with lots of attention to detail and looks really lovely. A lot of care has clearly been put in and the owner was very friendly with a lot of knowledge on tea and also the history of the building. We'd definitely go back and would recommend it for get-togethers. Also lots of seating outside to relax in the sun (weather permitting of course ! :"

"Sorry, I couldn't even review the food! I couldn't get in. The building was completely inaccessible for me as a powerchair user. They did say they were going to look at this, but in 2023 I find this totally unacceptable. There was nowhere to park either. It was ridiculously busy. So the table we had booked, I never even got to use. On a plus note, they said they were able to cater for my food allergies and intolerances had I been able to eat there. Ended up at a pub down the road which couldn't cater for my food requirements so I ended up with a packet of crisps for lunch! Lesson learned, better planning needed. Dietary restrictions: Able to cater for dietary restrictions such as coeliac and peanut allergy. Though I never ate there and am not sure about cross contamination. Wheelchair accessibility: Unable to access the building at all."

"Chef is absolutely outstanding! Attended the gym with a friend. We are both vegan and I 'm gf. He went out of his way to create a bespoke meal which was not only delicious but evidenced lots of care and attention. We had resigned ourselves to likely only being offered a salad but instead were spoilt with 5 different sandwich fillings on gf ciabatta, chunky chips, vg gf 'not-sausage ' rolls AND a fruit crumble pudding! Wow. Chef could not have made us feel more welcome or less of a bother. We are so grateful. Highly highly highly recommended!!!!!"

"The salted butter granary toast was the best I've ever had ! Coffee was good, and the breakfasts were of a generous size and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, only wish that our dog could go inside the café, but understandable Parking: On-street parking tough to find Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £20–30"
