"This place was our favourite in Scarperia. The food was delicious. The setting so romantic and we were dining with lovely friends. What more could you ask for. We arrived early and were welcomed and offered drinks and menus but advised the kitchen would open about 7. Not a problem. We took loads of lovely photos and enjoyed a glass of wine whilst we stared out across the mountain range and breathed in the air infused with Rosemary. Oh how I wish I could be there for dinner tonight. We shared an antipasto starter. For mains I had a superbly grilled rare steak. The ‘boys’ both had a mixed grill and Jane had a huge pork chop. We had sides of spinach, sweet and sour onions, salad and crispy potatoes. TASTY. For desert we had lemon sorbet and tiramisu. It was just under a mile back into town where our hotel was but the walk was a delight in the evening breeze. If you go to Scarperia you must go here. I ve also heard from friends the T BONE steak is a must. V expensive but delicious. Bon Appertite. Ps they will also serve tap water."
