"The owners husband and his friend threw change at a micmac girl who was dancing on the dance floor then later commenting after another native girl picked up the change she thought her micmac friend dropped but it was thrown at her!!! Then a guy that was with them was beat up in the washroom and robbed!!!!"

"Wow what can I say! This place was amazing and so fresh! From it's delicious baked goods to its amazing customer service... This is a must stop for any visitor to New Glasgo, Nova Scotia! My wife and I stopped here on a recommendation by a former coworker. When we got there, we were served by a cute server named Sanja. The choices were incredible, and the smells were to die for... but Sanja helped us choose what to pick and she even gave us a little care pkg for our travels (driving halfway through all 4 provinces! I really need it! Since the ferry to PEI was a little rocky! I need some goodness for my stomach. Thank god for BaKED food cafe and Sanja of course: We will be back!"

"When we googled restaurants in New Glasgow, Louie's Drive up diner came up as a highly rated option. Being avid roadtrippers that love good local food, we seek out great food trucks. Louie's was a perfect choice. We enjoyed a great fish sandwich, and the sriracha chicken sandwich. These items were perfectly cooked, delicious, and just messy enough to be very 'foodtruck'. The service was great, the truck was very clean, plenty of picnic table seating that were all clean and well stocked with condiments. One tiny detail that we really appreciated, that is sadly overlooked at most foodtrucks, is hand sanitizer. When eating at a foodtruck, hand washing is often not an option, but louie's took care of that with Hand sanitizer at every table plus the truck. Worth the detour if you are not actually going to New Glasgow otherwise."
