"It is run by two of the most generous and kind people you'd ever hope to meet, supported by staff of the same. There is humanity in everything they do. "What a great friendly fun happy place to go in saffron Walden, slight hi. Up with the last chef I believe but all back to normal now with fantastic food , won’t find better .and the evenings and weekends are the best in her3 with music most weekends, lovely happy staff , and fantastic manageress makes you fe£l very very welcome and at home and nothing is too much trouble thsnkyou, oh and the best cocktail makers in town , lots of offers and events"

"I have tried all the curry houses in Saffron Walden and for the first time the other day we decided to give Manzil a go. So pleased we did and can honestly say it is the best by far. The butter chicken, in particular, was excellent! :"

"We had a lovely evening meal here and so good that we returned for lunch the next day. Lovely cold meze starter- very fresh and homemade, lamb with smoked aubergine. For lunch next day: Greek omelette, vegetarian moussaka. All excellent and at a reasonable price."
