"One of our best meals in Puerto Escondido. We had the ceviche, fish tacos and guacamole. Everything was fresh and delicious and our server was very helpful. Prices were great also. Note that it's cash only."

"UPDATE: Pepe’s has moved! It’s now located near Hotel Barlovento—check Google Maps for the updated location. I truly can’t believe how great this meal was. Pepe made bomb mezcal mojitos while we waited, and then served some of the best tacos I’ve ever had in...my life (mahi mahi and coconut shrimp). The space is small, which makes it intimate and welcoming, and Pepe is a sweet, conversational host. recommend going at least twice during a Puerto Escondido visit."

"Stuns on this jewel of a place where the fish and shrimp tacos are fresh and tasty. They are covered with crushed coconut tempura batteries and fritted to perfection with cabbage, tomatoes, sesame seeds, guacamole, creamy salsa and pineapple. They are so big, I actually ate them with a fork and fed some to the local dogs. The owner was a friendly man who spoke English and was very hospitable. This fish taco dining is rustic and can easily be missed, but I am so glad that it exists and come back. I have eaten many tacos in Mexico and this place is my favorite."
