"The restaurant oil mill in the country chair is more of the top class of restaurants in the environment. on the one hand this is the service, the ambiente and especially the eating very well. on the other side this has its price of course. if they know that it can be a bit more expensive, then the oil mill is certainly highly recommended. who only wants to eat for little money, but should rather make a bow."

"Nico and his wife provide a welcoming environment in a small but fully equipped restaurant. I've enjoyed their pizza, spaghetti, sausage, salads, and schnitzel. I really recommend the Aglio Olio with shrimp (krabben) and the garlic bread. Enjoy!"

"This spot used to be my "go to" restaurant for great Italian food for dinner with friends or for family when they visited. Now, I'm sad to say that at best it is very good and at worse it's fair. When the kitchen is "on" the food is a good representation of quality Italian food. Pizza is usually a safe dish, as are the salads. There is plenty of room for large groups and there is a cheerful patio out back. I've lived in the area for going on 10 years and I still eat there hoping it will be a good night for the kitchen."

"Das Gaststätte ist nicht ist nicht vergleichbar mit einem Restaurant im üblichen Sinne. Der Begriff Ausflugslokal trifft wohl eher zu. So verhält es sich auch mit der Gesamtgestaltung der Anlage. Bei entsprechendem Wetter lädt der Freisitz zum Essen, bzw. Trinken mit einem herrlichen (Fast-) Rundblick über die Stadt, die Airbase und den Bereich bis hin zum Rand des Landstuhler Bruches, den Potzberg.( Die Ramsteiner nennen es westpfälzische Moorniederung.Man hat das gebraucht ) Die Speisen sind gutbürgerlich,preislich ohne Einwand und auch zu Stoßzeiten relativ schnell am Tisch. Die Bedienung ist stets freundlich und auch auskunftsbereit. Es halten sich überwiegend Amerikaner im Lokal auf, welche davor das"Castle" besucht haben. Resümee: Das Lokal eignet sich wunderbar als Endpunkt oder Zwischenhalt nach einer Wanderung durch die Wälder mit ihren ausgezeichneten Wanderwegen. Mit Wermutstropfen wegen unwichtiger Unpäßlichkeiten läßt sich dann besser umgehen"
