"Having lived ten years in Ethiopia and having been in Ethiopian restaurants in new york for 20 years and washington I think I can say that I know about Ethiopian cuisine. the few other Ethiopian restaurants in belgium with the exception of the house of lalibella in leuven having hardly convinced me I went to the Toukoul today to eat my favorite Ethiopian dish, the raw kitfo. I've never eaten a kitfo so expensive but I've never had such a lot of perfectly seasoned meat. The only flat is that it was a bit compact because it was lacking clarified butter, which I told the chef who took it very well. I told him that I gave him a score of 9.5 out of 10 and I would give him a 10 in 10 next time if he put a little more clarified butter in his preparation. apart from that no negative note, reception and nice service."
