"General Schloss Schwante was sold to the Hexenkessel Hoftheater und Strand GmbH in 2009. We definitely find the beach well, at the latest when the pole caps are melted, we want to go surfing at the gates of Berlin! Since the purchase, this Brandenburger Kleinod has been a cultural centre in the province. These include regular guest games at the Witchenkessel Theater and some other cultural activities, just like the restaurant, which is not so long at this point. The castle lies in the midst of respect, surprising name castle park. Here are some deck chairs around wells and under shaded trees. The village of Oberkrämer, in which the castle is located, invites you to a longer exploration, around the Mühlensee there is a hiking trail, in the place the milk filling station is recommended and who wants to be frightened by free-running cows. Otherwise there are Brandenburger Landschaft as its best and some surprising architectural details. Food The restaurant offers plenty of space both indoors and outdoors to catch the numerous theatre visitors “Hamlet”. There are Brandenburger rural kitchen, modern and a little noble. As always there are scavengers for the undetected with recently obligatory roast potatoes, as well as chars, germinous land pig with herb salad, pifferlingsragout with semmelknödel or burger. The prices fluctuate between 10 and 17.50 euros, everything is very nice to look at and tastes also good, really surprising it is not yet, a bit nepp, a bit nice. Service The service is overwhelmed with us tonight. The fact that a plate once flies out of the hand can happen to everyone that we are asked several times whether we have ordered this or that, irritating that our salad only after we have already eaten and we have mashed it three times is then already unprofessional. All the good is certainly never together, but here simply lacks a shot of stability. Perhaps this also means that many tables have to be served and some of the service staff are still new. What else? There are some very moony moments in this place: the chandelier above the garden, the theater stage at the lake, the idyll that invites to the summer night party at the latest when jazz sounds to the sunset, the interior. And yet, he remains ambiguous as a gigolo: a place to fall in love and a place to lose his innocence, a place for wish-makers and summer rafters, a place for young and old. Perhaps there is only a lack of serenity that was not experienced today with the hectic service."
