"I ate here a few times over half a lifetime ago and although different to the previous incarnation, we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience. Solid food monkfish and lamb rack both excellent, lovely tarts, tasty desserts and good old fashioned service from Keith, washed down with a couple of cracking bottles of Palliser Pinot Noir. Quaint and unique, it was lovely to see an owner operator at work who cares about his customers far more so than the operator across the road, delivering a far better product and meeting expectations!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!! , Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!"

"We dropped in at Greywalls on a sunny Saturday lunchtime for a light lunch and to enjoy the gardens. We opted for the pasta of the day, which was penne in blue cheese sauce with broccoli. It was a simple dish superbly cooked, whilst the service was impeccable; very efficient and friendly without being stuffy. We took the opportunity to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful gardens. All in all an exquisite lunchtime."
