"We usually go to Sushi Fang in New Minas always love the food, location and service. This time, due to where we were at the time, we tried the Greenwood location. We will never go again. We went in at 450pm ordered around 510 (after waiting 20 mins to be spoken to)....apps came out first we had to ask for our water and can of pop as it was never brought to us. We were the only table and had to not only ask for our drinks, but plates, forks/chop sticks etc. We literally had to ask for everything we needed to eat. The food was pretty good but the service and location was less than par. The table was sticky there was an old dirty fish tank on the table for whatever reason there was a child watching movies behind the bar listening to the movie very loud (dogs barking and stuff) so as there was no music, we listened to that. The child then came out and ate off a table not sure if that was a guests left over food or the staffs but either way, not acceptable. The decor is awful tables are propped up by what looks like an old dirty rag. This location needs a fresh look and customer service. We will never return unfortunately."

"That's the good news-bad news report. Finally a decent restaurant in the Kingston -Greenwood area that has real food, wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. The decor is light-filled and cozy and the servers are excellent. There is a good selection of wines and when we dined out for a special family dinner, the fact that there are delicious vegetarian options was very much appreciated. The fish, chicken and beef are tremendous as well. Everyone seems genuinely happy to work in this restaurant and that is nice to see. The only downside is seems to be a problemwith timing in the kitchen. I have visited twice and both times waited at least 30 minutes before seeing any food - starter or main. Here's hoping the chef sorts that issue as leisurely or not- diners like to eat!"

"First time to the Oaken Barrel pub in Greenwood N.S . The service was impeccable, very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. The appetizers were delivered fast and hot. The main course was plated beautifully, and absolutely delicious. The whiskey glaze in my burger was so good , never tasted anything like it. Definitely recommend!!!!"

"The food tastes excellent and there is a lot of variety on the menu, however it varies a bit depending on the chef working. The hours of operation can be a little sporadic so calling ahead or booking a reservation are good ideas."
