"Very nice tea room decorated with teapots, postcards, antique umbrellas. Very well received by Hortense who offered us to accompany our tea with slices of brioche with raspberry jellies and big ones. We've had fun! It's an authentic place!"

"We visited Pontrieux on the steam train and I looked for somewhere suitable to eat for a party of Restaurant la Vallee ticked all the boxes for us What a find!!! From the warm welcome to the wonderful salad starters including prawns sardine cold...meats pate to the main course of either chicken or steak or omelette and then a course of cheeses followed by a range of desserts washed down with copious amounts of red Rose wine. The service was superb with the waitress even giving one of our friends a lift back to the train station because she was unable to walk the minute brisk walk. That was going way and beyond the call of duty What we couldn’t understand was why all the photos of people on the website was full of miserable people after having such fantastic food wine for an absolute bargain of per person including wine bread so I am going to redress the balance put a photo of very satisfied customers. If ever you are in this part of France please visit this restaurant you won’t be disappointed"
