"Very popular is Castle Chippy, 45 minutes from joining queue to collecting the best Haddock and chips I've ever tasted so it was worth the wait. The staff work like Trojans, very well organized, no one complains."

"Was at nearby Greenacres Caravan site.Tried this fish and chip shop because caravan site chip shop was closed. Really wish I hadn't bothered. The fish and chips were really bad.The chips were greasy and undercooked and fish the same with floury, very soggy batter. I wouldn't recommend this establishment at all."

"If you are camping at Black Rock Sands Area or staying in that area don't bother dragging yourself to Porthmadog for Fish and Chips as these are just as good. Cash only when I was there. The shop next door has a cash machine. Can get busy."

"This was our second visit here and it was every bit as good as the first. The service was friendly and caring as well as efficient. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. A number of reviews have commented about the cost but I believe...that you get what you pay for and the service, location and food served is worth the money. Just to emphasise my previous statement, we booked a dinner reservation in advance and travelled miles to dine by the sea at Dylan's and we were not in anyway disappointed. We will definitely return in the future."

"My man and I celebrated our jubilee here. the restaurant was okay, it was full when we came. the service was great. the cocktail was beautiful and the dessert was fantastic and the net was also beautiful. the only problem was on my skalopp got some chalk in it probably from the grill. well done to the chef."

"In my opinion this is the first time in at least 40 years that I can say that both chippys in Criccieth are equally superb. And that is a big compliment for Paddy's! Yes they are excellent but also consistently so and that's the real measure. For anyone with a normal appetite the small cod and small chips is plenty, and the curry sauce is quite special!
