"We were very excited to visit Chef Mike?s, as we heard it was one of the nicest spots in Seaside Park. Unfortunately we thought it was overpriced and very mediocre. We had empty glasses that just sat on our table, and constantly had to flag our server toget their attention. We ordered several things, but the only item that we really liked and thought was unique was the CreamyCrab Bisque. My husband had the lobster special which was $60, and was nothing you could rant about. The whole experience didn?tfeel like a fine dining experience, but you pay fine dining prices. I hope this feedback helps the team, as the restaurant haspotential and is located right on the beach so you have beautiful views of the water."

"Every city I visit I like to try their taco spots. I?m also a bit of a stickler for authenticity, I don?t like super overly Americanized versions of the food. This place is where you want to get tacos from in Seaside. My wife and I went for dinner and ordered their Bistec (steak) tacos and an order of rice and refried beans. "This is a hidden gem in seaside. We came with 10 people tonight. Everything was very tasty and cooked well. From fried calamari to beer salad to mozzarella caprese, mini crab cakes as apps. "Went on a Friday evening with no reservations and it was booked. They accommodated us at the bar which was great as we sat and watched the sushi chefs make magic! The staff were all great and very friendly. We started with vegetable tempura which was asexpected and also an amazing dragon roll which was AMAZING! It was packed with heat, umami and just a true explosion offlavor. As entrees we had the walnut shrimp which was just sooooo good. It was a bit sweet but had crunch and just delicious.The lobster Cantonese was a bit disappointing. The sauce was bland and a bit slimy for my liking. It was not what I expected inregards to Cantonese so I was a bit confused but none the less the lobster was fresh and meaty. The lamb chops were divine andjust cooked to perfection. The pepper steak was done with filet mignon so the meat was tender and plump. For desert we had pecanpie without the pecans?.. don?t ask just get it. It?s basically sugar pie that you could lather yourself in for days. Definitelya great experience overall and I would suggest reservations but the bar was awesome! It?s BYOB so make sure to bring yourdrinks."
