"So the 3 stars is for the food. It was actually quite delicious! I say actually due to the fact that when entering the restaurant and waiting for your food, it looks as though the place is going through a renovation or as if they're about to go out of business. That was my initial assumption (we had never been here before), however, I've read reviews from quite some time ago that demonstrate that to be not true. They apparently always have the inside this way.Then, when we got home and checked our food we found out our edamame was not in the bag, but there were 3 small cups of miso soup. I didn't know what it was though and due to allergies we called the restaurant. The staff remembered us (expected as there weren't many customers) and apologized and explained what happened. They also told us to mention it next time we come in and they'll give us an edamame. Appreciate the courtesy and immediately acknowledging the issues. Very professional. I think because of this service after experiencing an issue and how they resolved it, despite the look of the restaurant inside, I'll give this place another chance to redeem themselves in the future. I'm hoping they clean up the inside and make it more like a sushi restaurant. Currently it's mostly just the bar and then a bunch of tables and chairs stacked in corners (that are apparently always like that). Foods good, restaurant not so much. There's a lot of potential here."

"First time here. My friend and I were looking for a new sushi spot to try, and we both found this hidden gem ?. The reviews look great, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. First and foremost, the place is elegant and very clean. Great environment, music, and friendly staff. We were greeted and seated by Markus. He explained the menu very well and gave us great recommendations! The food came out promptly with great attention to detail! Our order was very delicious! This place is a gem! I live in riverside and I'll make the drive to out come here! Bungee Sushi truly merits 5 stars!"

"I am a bit surprise to see Akami, Chu-Toro, and O-Toro differentiation, yet at the same time no restroom, no free water, and self-service set up with outside trash can. It reminded me of small wholesale in Japan with the retail part for mostly sampling, which I assume the Japanese couple here is doing with the surrounding retail. If you want quality rice go for the sushi, if you want quantity rice go for the chirashi bowl. Fish is no bad but might be because I was there a bit late, but they have everything like the traditional Japanese sushi joint with the hand written daily promotion. That mean from salmon to Uni to Kanpachi to etc... They also have different budget for everyone, just don't expect a gourmet meal with greasy spoon price."

"First time coming here with our friend who gave us the recommendation. It's a big restaurant and have plenty of seating. The service here is really prompt and they on you constantly. AYCE menu has plenty of options to choose from. As far as the sushi, it's really good quality and the portions of the hand-rolls and some of the rolls/specialty rolls are pretty hefty. That was the main thing that stood out. The nigiris were good the hand-rolls are massive. Soft shell crab hand-rolls was bomb! Also there was special the night we came by and it $1 beers. There a few really good AYCE sushi restaurants in the area. Sushi one spot is a great AYCE sushi spot to come thru and check out."
