"We were very disappointed to read such great reviews about this place only to find the food extremely bland, the service lack lustre and the setting ordinary! We’ve spent alot of time in Italy and this restaurant’s food is a very poor representation of...Italian cooking. The first few entrees served were doughy, lacked seasoning and cold. We sat on a basket of tasteless dry focaccia for an hour before they served entree; A slice of cold tuna meatloaf, big doughy balls of deep fried cabbage, a tiny potato salad with chewy prawns, definitely not fresh. There was at least an hour wait between courses. Main was a flavourless watery plain pasta with a few florets of Broccoli and garlic, then 2 small grey beef meatballs which also lacked seasoning. The tiny side of eggplant parmigiana was the only saving grace with a semblance of flavour. The chocolate tart dessert was okay, but again the pastry tasted like cardboard. And this all took 3 HOURS... There are so many better places in Sydney to experience authentic Italian food cooked with care!"
