"We were really looking forward to this restaurant, but unfortunately we were faced with unprofessional, sloppy service where food was delivered haphazardly, making others of our party wait on both appetizers and entrees; wait service people who didn’t seem to know what they were doing; overcooked fish on a night that wasn’t that busy – so there was no excuse for any of it. It was a huge disappointment."

"What an exceptional restaurant. We have now been here 5 times since moving back to CT in the fall. It never ceases to amaze us. The service is exceptional and the food outstanding. The flavors are always on the mark and refined. Tonight was very unusual in that my wife ordered a dish that was seasoned with a spice that she could not eat. No questions asked they offered to serve her something else. She accepted and was served an exceptional sword fish steak. I applaud the restaurant for handling this in an extremely professional manner. I cannot say enough good things about Zini's and highly recommend it to all."
