"We ordered a Monte Cristo, tuna melt, and coffee. Coffee came in a dirty mug, burnt flavor. Had to ask the waitress twice for water before she remembered. Tuna melt was bleh and was NOT a tuna melt. It was a tuna sandwich with a slice of cheese not a correct tuna melt. The Monte Cristo was NOT a Monte Cristo. What kind of dingbat takes two pieces of very cinnamon French toast, shoves meat in between the pieces, calls it a Monte Cristo and serves it?? The menu did not give any warning to this weird sandwich."

"OMG!! My sister I had the best lunch at Public House Diner in Quechee! If I could give more than 5 stars, this would be the time! We each had a bottle of beer-Zero Gravity Conehead Fiddlehead IPA-there's a decent selection of mostly local beers-no draft. I had the Ross Grilled Cheese with Avocado with a side of coleslaw-so freaking good! My sister got the Classic BLT with avocado. Equally as good. The fries that came with my sister's sandwich were probably the best fries either one of us had ever had. Some secret spices, apparently! Our server, Beth, was friendly, gracious and professional. The diner is only open for breakfast and lunch, so plan accordingly. Several people were turned away while we were eating lunch at 3pm. The restaurant is charming-a 1946 diner car from Holyoke, MA is part of the restaurant. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Country store in the same complex for shopping. Other attractions, as well. I will go out of my way to eat lunch here again and am planning on doing just that. You will not be disappointed."
