"Tried it again since our last visit six months ago. Still sucks! Mediocre food and horrible service. Stay away! P.S We're not tourists. We live in Weggis."

"Disappointed the setting is correct, a small view of the mountains according to where you are in the restaurant but unfortunately the view is not enough to swell the prices. We ordered a green salad French sauce, the same as in store nothing ordinary staff. "Die Räbalp ist eine Alpwirtschaft und findet sich auf der Rigi auf dem Weg zwischen der Seebodenalp und dem Chänzeli. Hier können Wanderer einen Zwischenstopp einlegen, auf die Toilette gehen und sich verpflegen.Das kulinarische Angebot reicht von einer Bauernplatte bis zum Fondue. Einfach aber gut. Und das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt, tut es zumindest für mich. Der Service ist freundlich, je nach Jahreszeit muss man sich aber auch selbst bedienen. Bei der Wirtschaft hat es ein paar Liegestühle und so kann man sich die Sonne auf den Bauch scheinen lassen und dabei die Aussicht auf den Pilatus geniessen. Für Kinder hat es auch ein Trampolin, eine Schaukel, einen Berner Sennenhund und - manchmal - zwei weisse Zwergponys zum streicheln.Die Wirtschaft wird ganzjährig betrieben, im Winter allerdings nur am Wochenende. Zum Teil kann auf der Räbalp auch übernachtet werden (Massenschlag).Die Räbalp findet sich übrigens auch im Bergbeizli-Führer, Innerschweiz."

"I visited here one Monday lunchtime, I was fairly early, 11.45am but there were some tables already taken, people eating lunch. There is room outside and inside to sit but more or less on the main Lucerne - Küssnacht road so a little noisy.The diners seemed to be mostly workers and the menu only offered a choice of three lunch menus. I didn't want so much so I asked if I could have something smaller. The answer was emphatically 'No'. No attempt was made to accommodate me. I had a Cola Zero and later a coffee, when the bill came it was an astounding CHFr 9.60. On top of that the waitress was a little shocked when I took the 40 Rappen change.The level of service needs attention."
