"First time visiting here last night. Thought it was a lovely place very helpful friendly staff. We tried the tomahawk steak for 2 very nice but then again for the £75 price tag you'd expect it to be!!! Enjoyed our night and would definitely return but I think for the price tag its a special occasion restaurant."

"We visited the cafe for a coffee break with ladies walking aids. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is one of the few cafes with a ground floor toilet for the disabled. A large cafe with room for the walking aids....Service with a smile too!"

"We were here twice excellent eating, I have coeliac(gluten free diet}that is no problem, the menu was adapted to my needs. there was a good choice to home cooked eating, the staff in this village pub made us feel very welcome, my wife...has bier broken squid she said that the best she had ever had"

"Ten of us went here for lunch (7 adults and 3 children) on Mother’s Day as we were staying in the area. We had a lovely meal, lots of different foods, great options for the kids and it all arrived at the same time. It’s table service and the landlady was really friendly and funny. Would recommend if you’re in the area"

"Food all looked appealing coming out the kitchen. Kept changing my mind as it went past. Finally ordered the fresh fish in batter and it was flaky creamy and very tasty. All 4 meals were enjoyed and will be coming back at every opportunity. Staff work very hard so would expect there might be a wait if really busy. Good pricing and plenty of tea offered to swill it all down."
