"For such an isolated place I am legally surprised with the quality of the food they have. the breakfast burritos were good in considering their isolation. also good that they open at the end, the earliest I found during my trip."

"We visited on our Dyea Dave Emerald Lake tour and it was a great place to stop for lunch. Excellent value, lovely fresh baked scones and cakes. Sandwiches and a choice of soups, with the yummy salmon chowder, but be warned it can sell out so don't leave your lunch break too late."

"The server said the portions in the menu are so ordered for the exchange, so that I ordered a meal and an appetizer to share with my friend. the meal was smaller the appetizer, how could they think that enough food to share with 2 people. it also took an hour to come for our food, other people who came later, then we got their food before us. Eat tasted great, but it wasn't worth waiting and starving forever. I'm very disappointed."

"I had the Mexican bean soup and my daughter had a decent buffalo pot pie with an insanely huge bowl of fresh beets. The soup was okay but the pot pie was tasty (I took a smidgen) and surprisingly smaller than the never-ending bottomless bowl of beets which I just couldn't finish (my daughter dislikes beets). If I ever return to Dawson City, I would try this restaurant again because I do like my beets."

"This restaurant is close to the intersection of () and Queen Street at the edge of downtown. As the name suggests, it has an extensive offering of fresh baked goods. I suggest the cranberry/apple strudel (or raspberry/apple). The place is very plain and basic—concrete floors, paper plates, plastic forks/spoons. You order from the counter and pick it up when ready. If you do not wish carry out, seating is two picnic tables or a counter along the front window. My wife and I both had an excellent turkey cranberry sandwich on fresh baked bread. Highly recommended for a delicious quick lunch."

"It was a quick lunch and was not disappointed. I had the honey-glazed pork fillet sandwich. all sandwiches are made on their house bungalows that are fantastic. the rest of the family had muffins and scones. I sniff and everybody was fantastic. to go when they try to pack a lot in a day."
