"2 stars might be a bit too harsh if you do not consider its price. But this place is quite expensive at ca. 100 pp for us. This place is so confusing. It feels like some thing is just … off. The food. The noodles were not bad. The fishes were clearly not fresh enough to offer the taste and texture, yet they haven’t had any bad taste either so they just taste like plastic cubes. You get a pile of such cubes sitting on a pad of soy sauce as a St. Jacque scallop tartare. The tamago taste exactly the same as the frozen stuff I used to order online. They have fine wagyu-called beef and pretty decent fatty tuna though. The service. The staff was super friendly; but out of what we ordered we got one item wrong, one item missing and one item we did not want, for which we were charged but I didn’t other arguing anyway. The service was quite slow. And half a dozen flies were around our table all the time : I’m really confused what is going on, especially given quite many positive reviews. I tried to be fair, but the only two scenarios that makes sense is those reviews were fake, or the chef somehow left in a hurry and some other guy as confused as me were grabbed to keep this place running."

"Most delicious food. Great place and fantastic people. High-quality fish and meat. Efficient and highly competent staff. We love the Beau Rivage, such a wonderful place and service. A negative comment is that this place closes at 9 9 pm, this really puts us off going there as my husband does not finish work till 7 pm. In addition, they close on Sundays!!! Do not understand why the early closure time of the restaurant and the non-opening on Sundays!! this is not a kid's restaurant, neither a bank nor an office!! why the early closures? and why Sunday closures?? They need to evolve... this is the entertainment industry..."

"We had dinner at several Michelin or star restaurants this year and I could not tell if one was better than the other, but Anne-Sophie Pic is certainly my favourite! We enjoyed all courses and they were beautifully presented and tasted marvellously. Jacques...Pic's sea bass was just a dream. Service was impeccable."
