"Fishing is right in front of the village oberstdorf on b19. it was due to the fact that we are here to take it forward, a rewarding supplement. Although on the 1st Christmas day the house was almost filled to the last place, the fine came to us and offered us at least a place on the beautiful egg counter where we arrived at the same time with the locals. these praised the kitchen, so we order melaillons from the gams in stein mushroom, pfifferlingsrahm (20, € and put medaillons in curryrahm. "Wir waren dort, in der Hoffnung auf ein gutes chinesisches Abendessen (Buffet). Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Das Buffet für stolze 11,90, minimalistisch, für die Menge Leute die dort waren. Geschmacklich, naja, Garnelen in Tempurateig (Ok), Dschingiskhan Platte und Hühnchen in Thai Curry auch ok, der Rest eher nicht."

"Ein Spaziergang lockte uns zufällig in den Wittelsbacher Hof. Die Sonne schien und wir erspähten die einladende Gartenterrasse, von der man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge hat. Um es kurz zu machen: Wir bestellten das 3Gang-Menü für den unschlagbaren Preis von 29,00 €. Eine falsch gebrachte Vorspeise wurde ersetzt und nicht berechnet, obwohl fast aufgegessen. Die Küche ist gutbürgerlich deutsch, der Service war freundlich und unaufdringlich. Wir beschlossen, vor unserer Abreise erneut hier zu essen.Der zweite Besuch gestaltete sich anders. Es regnete, wir konnten nicht auf der Terrasse sitzen. Flugs führte uns die Bedienung in einen Nebensaal, weil im Hauptsaal die Hotelgäste Buffet erhielten und der Neid-Faktor ob der besseren À la carte-Gerichte wohl vermieden werden sollte.Hier saßen wir nun. Der gesamte Hotelbau samt Interieur schien mächtig aus der Zeit gefallen und erinnerte an die 60er. Silberkübel- und Besteck, entsprechende Deko und Bestuhlung. Nostalgiefreunde dürfen sich angesprochen fühlenGab es beim ersten Besuch ein Amuse Gueule, reichte uns die Bedienung diesmal einen großen Brotkorb, in dem zwei einsame nicht mehr ganz frische Brotscheiben auf den Verzehr warteten. Eindeutig Überbleibsel vom Buffet nebenan. Als mein Partner nach Brot verlangte, meinte die Bedienung schockiert: „Sie haben ihr Brot doch noch gar nicht aufgegessen.“Anfangs dachte ich: womöglich bleibt das Brot der einzige Fauxpas. So war es leider nicht. Zur Vorspeise. Das Lachstatar mit Wasabi-Paste war frisch und gut abgeschmeckt, die Kartoffelröstie kalt und labbrig. Beim Hauptgericht überwog die Enttäuschung. Schweinemedaillons, Schupfnudeln und Champignonsauce wurden als Hauptgericht serviert. Medaillons zäh, die Schupfnudeln ein Convenience-Produkt und die Sauce mit Maggi angedickt. Immerhin, die Champignons frisch.Zur Nachspeise bestellten wir gegen 21.00h Kaiserschmarrn. Das qualifizierte uns endgültig als Problemgäste. Die Bedienung erwiderte: „Gut, dass Sie mir das jetzt sagen. Der Koch will gleich Feierabend machen und der Kaiserschmarrn ist ja recht aufwendig in der Vorbereitung." Das formulierte er aus so einer drollig-ungastlichen Selbstverständlichkeit heraus, dass man ihm unmöglich böse sein konnte. Der Kaiserschmarn war nicht super-fluffig, aber selbst gemacht und reichhaltig.Fazit: Für 29,00 € bekommt man ein annehmbares Menü, die Küche ist von wechselhafter Qualität. Unbedingt draußen sitzen und den Ausblick genießen. Umgang mit dem Gast ist amüsant kurios. Wir hatten viel zu lachen!"

"Freundliches Personal.Aber....... Einfach nur schmutzig! Einen freien Tisch zu finden war nicht schwer aber einen sauberen dagegen sehr. Eine halbe Stunde später kam dann doch mal jemand um die Tische zu reinigen. Aber wie ! Mit der Reinigungssprühflasche einmal kurz auf EINE stelle vom Tisch gesprüht mit einem Lappen kurz darüber gewischt fertig. Aber nicht der ganze Tisch wurde abgewischt sondern nur die Stellen wo Essensreste lagen.Die größeren Essensreste wurden vor dem abwischen einfach mit der Hand auf den Boden befördert. Dem entsprechend sah der Boden aus !!!!! Wirklich sauber waren die Tische nach dem Reinigen auch nicht.Auch das Frauen WC war sehr schmutzig !!Krönenden Abschluss : Ein Aschenbecher auf der zum mitnehmen Theke.Nun zum Essen :Der Fisch war gut aber die Beilagen nicht. Die Bratkartoffeln schmeckten wie aufgewärmt.Laberig und trocken.Bei meinem Lachs in Pergament eingewickelt gab es ein Gemüsebett unter dem Lachs mit Sellerie und Karotten. Leider kam das Gemüse aus dem Glas."

"Ate here last night. Asked for a bottle of house red to accompany our meal. When the bill arrived we were shocked to find we had been given one of the most expensive bottles at 35 euros. Obviously we challenged this to be told they don't do house wine in a bottle so had given us that. And as we had drank it there was nothing they could do. The waitress offered a complimentary drink to apologise for OUR misunderstanding (this was the same complimentary drink given to all dinners). The final straw was the waiter who served us sniggering about it. Very bad way to treat customers. I will never eat here again and advise anyone who does to order carefully."
