"Worst fish and chips we have had from any chippy. Fish had hard rubbery batter and thin wafer of fish inside. For 10 pounds each it was dreadful. Chips ok but not good. Staff were good shame about the cooking."

"Alanya is a small eaterie that looks more like cafe than restaurant, with a lot of tables cramped into a small area so I was expecting the prices to reflect the spartan atmosphere. Last time I lived in Liverpool, this place was an estate agents, so I was curious to see if they made a miraculous Grand Designs style refurb. Its special offers were on display outside including the confusing banner proclaiming Lunch for or I was there on a Sunday to take advantage of its seemingly generous all mains half price' offer. The restaurant was cosy inside with a warm welcome from the friendly staff, charcoal grill blazing and giving off an aromatic scent of kebabs, onions and basil. However, this didn't detract from the non-restauranty ambience of the place, and as I glanced at the menu, the price didn't reflect it either. for a small bottle of water made me gasp, as did the prices of the hot drinks. These were also in the same price range of chic city centre watering holes"

"Went on just eat and that was the closest place with more than 2 stars. it was about 5 o'clock and place was not very busy, only two other people there. I knew I wanted to see a burger so fast through the menu and saw the homemade burger (it said something like that.) I ordered the meal (chips) and it came a little over £6, I took a cup tee while he was carrying the meal. it did not take long and the burger came, looked a little pale (but that was because it was freshly cooked) garnished over with the salate. I started with the chips that were a little fat for my lust, but at a good level cooked (not overcooked) the burger in the half to check how well it was cooked and surprisingly it was cooked all the way through with good consistency and it remained together (not crumbling). about a really nice atmosphere and if I ever again in the city I would definitely eat here and I recommend this to everyone in the opposite try to talk with a little intentional about how they want to eat their cooked."

"I was at a friends house a couple of weeks ago and we ordered pizzas and a few sides. All was going good until we actually opened the pizza box and you could tell that the pizza had been left for a while because the cheese actually begun to turn a little hard, the sides were all cold too!! Got 'sorry theres nothing I can do ' as a response, would not recommend."
