"Some of the best sushi I had outside of tokio. English is not spoken here, but they are not afraid of it. a good 20min drive from the city center, that must be the best sushi in kanazawa. great service and good food had let me come back for seconds. reservations are highly recommended."

"This was a happy surprise street visiting the Ninja Temple it is on the same street. The owner is lovely and speaks great English, and empathises with the lack of vegan and vegetarian friendly food in Kanazawa. I had the tofu and avocado panini, tomato and borage soup and a smoothie all delicious and freshly made. This place is also child friendly, with a play area for small children in the cafe. "Absolutely amazing! Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! Prepared right infront of me. The staff was amazing, very courteous and friendly. The head chef, with everything he had to do, took the time to meet us at the door and wish us a good night. Highly recommended to all if ever you visit the beautiful city of Takayama."
