"Honestly not my favorite tan tan men, but the quality of the ingredients and the effort and talent that went into creating the recipe is undeniable. The tan tan men had just the right amount of spiciness and a strong (but not overpowering) peanut kick. Definitely recommend to try this at least once; this is a taste that you won’t get anywhere else. Be mentally prepared to wait in line for about 1 hour."

"Sorbet was killer. Avocado toast was ok, nothing special. Coffee was good. Several vegetarian options like cheese toast. But pancakes have eggs. For the price, I’d come for the sorbet and coffee only if I’m in the neighborhood."

"This blue bottle location is always so busy! Somehow we managed to get seats on a Saturday, which is pretty much unheard of. Although always crowded, the service is always great and the baristas are very quick. Today we tried the single origin mocha, which was amazingly fruity and delicious. If you need a good cup of coffee, this is a good spot, even if you’re looking for to go."

"Good meaty burger, similarly priced to shake shack. The burger is a decent size and it comes with a side of fries which is good. The fish and chips are okay but they are great value at less than 800 yen including tax."

"We love this sushi shop! Always get plenty of food for the cost. Time to be seated depends on when you go. We went the day after new years and waited an hour to be seated, but most days we are seated in less than 15 minutes. I love being able to order via the tablet as it makes it really easy. Especially when we first got to Japan and were wary of how to order in places off base."

"Tucked away in Aoyama this is a great spot to try whiskeys from all over the world (especially Japanese ones). The selection of whiskeys is awesome and service is good too. Some food service is also available. Whiskeys will generally cost around 1500-2000 yen per glass and upwards. It’s a good place to try some unique whiskeys you couldn’t find in other stores. I tried the Shizuoka Prologue W, which was great. Loved the atmosphere here too. Recommended."

"Very good. For drinks, we ordered raspberry champagne and sangria; both were 6 good, but the sangria was out of this world. For food, the pancakes and crème brûlée were my favorites."
