"Great location, amazing view, ice cream magical just one down they close early.. Close at 5 or 6 o'clock but ice cream is closing at 16h... Even in summer"

"The architectural design is beautiful. A huge wide spaces inside. However due to its architecture,when its crowded it is quite noisy. When there to have Houtou due to its unique design however there is just one type of Houtou available there. Won't recommend to the people who wants to enjoy typical Japanese Houtou. Personally The taste of the Houtou is not tasty compared to other restaurant. Must focus on its Houtou taste and also must increase the types of Houtou in the menu. It was an average Houtou restaurant for me."

"Kombu based broth instead of dashi, rest of the dish is the same. It was good, huge portion size. I just didn't think the overall dish's taste/satisfaction was at a fantastic level"

"The vegetable tempura is vegan as long as you mention that you’re vegan. One dressing is vegan too (onion) which isn’t labeled as vegan but the staff explained it was. Miso soup has fish stock so I think it’s easier to get a la carte veges rather than the set and buy a side of rice (which is all you can eat). It was tasty tempura and nice to have an option in kawaguchiko. The only thing that put me off was the girl working behind the counter threw the vegan tempura onto the same serving tray as my husbands non vegan tempura. Literally picked up in tongs and threw it onto the tray lol. Pretty sure they were cooked in separate vats of oil but what’s the point if they all get mixed together in the end anyway..."

"The soup base was alright, but the noodle is horribly thick. the texture its like eating thick flour cake. we ordered big portion and it was so hard to swallow. just order the regular will do."

"This is a fantastic cafe right outside Ōtsuki station. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. We came in for a quick drink and parfait before our train which was delicious! The owner was great to talk to and the service was great. I highly recommend stopping by this cafe if you're waiting for a train or in Ōtsuki."
