"We had an amazing experience here. A.I.R serves purely vegan degustations, created by guest chefs. Guest numbers are very limited (I think to 14), so early booking is recommended. Interestingly only 4 of the guests there the night we went were vegan. The food could be described as modern Japanese with a twist, delicious and beautifully presented, paired with local sakes and wines. Pricey but worth it! Don’t miss it!"

"The gyoza and crispy chicken were beautiful, the daikon salat was good, but the crispy tofu was terrible. it was cold and tasted like stale brot. we only ate a few pieces. the aussie waiter served my drink by holding it on the glass top! overall the staff were friendly enough."

"Fish from naoetsu harbour is from curs awesomex and vegetables are very fresh and hand powerful amazing. my dog could not go so we take our lunch, but when they go to the restaurant, they are served great miso suppe! I recommend you visit this place."
