"2023.6.10 Around the World Heritage Site of Tomioka City near Tomioka Silk Mill Retro Cafe "Café Dlome" Cafe Renovated Old House Kiche Set Miso Pudding was very delicious! Antique furniture on the second floor is very nice and very similar to the atmosphere of the old private house. There is no private parking lot, so I used a nearby parking lot 500 yen."

"TIN'z Burger Market is not far from Takasaki Train Station and offers vegan and non- vegan burgers in a casual, diner style American restaurant. The restaurant interior is sweet and warm and decorated with various artworks by local artists along the walls. The owner is very friendly, speaks English, understands the differences between vegan, vegetarian, etc. and is very ready to adapt burger toppings/substitutions to the needs of the customer. The vegan burger is very tasty and has a slightly brownish Japanese taste due to the miso-based sauce they use. Soypatty is a little soft and does not have the same texture as traditional soy meat, but tastes great with sauce and veggie toppings! While TIN'z serves meat, milk and eggs, it is also the only restaurant in Takasaki (as of February 2020), which has a 100% vegan burger option. For vegans/vegetarians in the area after a vegan burger or visitors around the area, I really recommend to try it!"

"Matsumura was a great culinary experience. there are few restaurants where I felt that the staff really cared for the customers. the owner took the time to welcome us and make sure that we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. my fiancée and I ordered a traditional set with tofu that they made in the house. it's the best tofu I've ever eaten. certainly worth the trip to this restaurant. I would give them 5 stars, but the website does not allow."
