"Amazing little café hidden. Definitely worth the ride to her. We had the Tofu sandwich and summer noodles, amazing plus ice cream coffee and freshly made cranberry cookies. Eating was brilliant, so many options, all made fresh. Nice dining area, very relaxing. Friendly staff, English also speak"

"We were in shimoda during the next season and there are not many restaurants open and even less with vegetarian / vegan options. naoka brought some delicious curry rice salad boxes into our hotel! we have sent the night before by e-mail and the next day a delivery to get lunch she has a great service!"

"A small sandy beach that was virtually deserted, but clearly beloved of surfers. There were a few trying the rather small waves. Either end of the beach holds points of interest a natural tunnel rough the rock to the sea (used for small boat launching) at one end and some wild rock formations and caves at the other. The area isn't built up at all. I was here early April, so off season."

"The vegan plate was absolutely delicious. There were so many thoughtful elements to the set meal many different flavors and textures that we did not know what to expect when we ordered it, so it was such a wonderful surprise to be presented with a beautiful, healthy, delicious meal! It cost us only 1,100 yen everyone we couldn't believe that all the work that went into production. We had a long chat with the cook (which is also the owner after the meal and he assured us that everything in the Vegan plate is vegan and made from scratch. We just asked if there is fish, meat, milk or egg in the meal and he said no. It was clear that he understood what vegan means. He also stressed that the fresh products are produced locally, which was wonderful to hear. We have lived in Shimoda for 4 years and unfortunately there are not many vegan options in the small town. We wanted to eat at short notice and called two more restaurants that say they have vegan dishes that they needed 1 3 DAYS pre-announcement. Other bar Naminami needed only one hour's hint to prepare our meal, so we could not believe our happiness. We left the restaurant happy and full The customer service was friendly and great. The restaurant has a cute Hawaii theme and it was cozy and warm inside (despite a cold winter day outside! . We will definitely order the vegan dish again! Note: Make sure you call in advance and ask for the Vegan plate. Give them a hint at least 1 hour."
