The building and streetscape have a quaint charm. I visited Tanbaya, the oldest traditional Japanese sweets shop in Oita Prefecture, established in 1804, to buy Takeda's specialty sweets. Wherever you look in the shop, the atmosphere speaks of its age, which is impressive! This time, I bought the sweets "Aragi no Tsuki" and "Mikasano" and went home.
