"One of the few places we found with vegan food in this small town of Shibu-Onsen. The staff were super helpful, just ask them about their vegan menu and they'll give you a list of vegan options! It was great when it was ridiculously cold and snowing outside and we didn't want to go far to eat. Decent portions/price and the food was good, but it is more western style food."

Two kind of grilled pork are available: pork libs or hams, both are lobely tastes anyway. Ticket vending machine is available, no English menu, no parking lot, counter only. "It’s a little bit on the pricey side but the serving portion is rather generous (especially if you are a small eater; it was like 2-3 meals for me). Food was also good. I tried the venison set. Maybe not the greatest choice because it seems that venison is best cooked as a steak, but I wanted to try other ways of cooking this meat, so I got what I wanted."
