"Probably my favorite soup curry in Hokkaido and I’ve had quite a few! Definitely miles better than those super famous ones in Sapporo that have ridiculous lines out the door and endless tourists. This is a famous one in furano too and they even have their own curry in vacuumed prepackaged boxes to go, but even then, the lines aren’t as long and the quality is waaaay better! Ingredients are fresher and the flavor of the soup is richer and deeper. Service is however immensely slow (we got in without having to wait for dinner and yet it took over 30 mins for our food to be served). I’ve noticed this with soup curry places because presumably they cook everything to order. The space is comfortable though so it isn’t too bad to wait. I added the pork slices to mine and they were also really tender and good. Veggies so fresh as well. I’d really like to come back if I’m ever around furano again!"

"The ramen here was really really good. Top it off with a beer for a complete experience! My Friend and I tried both the soup bases, they were both good! Very Cosy Place!"

"Kind of cramped rooms, but nice baths. Separate onsen for men and women, a pretty basic and expensive restaurant, but a pretty good breakfast. Staff mostly speaks English, which is nice and thoughtful."

"This is one of those weird instances where I would recommend a place even though I didn’t care much for what I ordered. To be honest the wagyu roast beef rice bowl wasn’t that great. It’s not that it wasn’t good, it just lacked flavor. At a price of 2000 yen, I expected it to be better. With that said, everyone else in my party ordered the curry and they loved it. I wish I would have ordered it myself. There are also plenty of interesting items on the menu including some bear and deer meat dishes! I’d come back to check these out."

"Their sweets are amazing! Tried several of them but everything was just astonishing melted my heart. The milk pudding, especially, is just irresistible. Seems like it was loved by locals too. Definitely visit and try yourself if you are in Furano! Free parking lot across the street (a big one! and there is a vending machine to get some items (pudding, rusks, and coffee beans if you can't make it during the shop's open hours."

"Simple and good mc donalds just at the base of furano ski area. This outlet comes with a drive through. Quite easy for lunch stops after some activities on the hills. However it gets quite crowded during peak hours, so do come earlier. Seating space is very limited."

"Perfect central location 5 mins walk from the train station. Modern, clean and friendly. Lots of on site facilities. Comfortable bed. Bedrooms maybe lack a little storage but in the general scheme of things that's a very minor gripe. Buses outside to the ski station are very limited."
