Chún そば Yī Fēng ān

This restaurant was recommended by locals and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, just as the reviews said. The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. However, despite the snow outside, the windows were left open for COVID-19 precautions, which honestly made it quite cold inside.

I came to eat the Yokota Ko Soba. The only menu available is the limited 15 servings of zaru soba "Nonoka" for ¥1,210. You can also get a large serving for an additional ¥550. The flavor is great and the texture is solid, you might not even need the soba dipping sauce. I wish the noodles were a bit thinner, but overall I am very satisfied. The yuba tempura served as a chopstick rest is a nice touch. JAF members can get a discount of ¥50.

I came to Okuizumo town for the first time in a while, so I decided to have some soba. There are several soba restaurants in Okuizumo, but I think this place is the best among them. If you love 100% soba, definitely give it a try.

横田そば、湯葉蕎麦を注文しました。 お店の方より食べ方の説明を受け、実食。 口に含み、しばらく噛んだあとに拡がる風味。 好みはあるかと思いますが、僕は好みです。 湯葉蕎麦はここの名物との事で注文してみました。 蕎麦、湯葉双方美味しいのですが、別々に食べてもいいかと思いますが、美味しいものはおいしい。 このあたりは蕎麦の名店が多いらしく、他にも何件かありまして、目移りして仕方がありません。 その中でひときわ光るお店かと感じました。

久しぶりに入店。 前回売り切れだった、（野の香）を注文出来ました。限定15食なのでかなり幸運でした。 横田小蕎麦。他店でも味わいましたが、香り強く大変美味しく頂きました。 若干太めの麺で、コシ強め。 湯葉の天ぷらもついており、これは美味い！ そば湯もちょうどいい濃さで美味い。 お代わりしちゃいました。 ずっと気になっていた豆腐の漬物も食べる事が出来ました。酒のあてに最高。 店員さんの対応も小気味良く、気持ちよく食事が出来ました。 並ぶ価値アリアリですよ。
