We recently ate at this restaurant, and we were impressed by the lovely atmosphere and the friendly staff. The tom yam soup was delicious, as was the black rice with sweet, and the chips were a perfect complement to the vegetables. View all feedback.

The vegetarian food at this restaurant is good and there are various options available for a reasonable price. However, water is not provided and the waitress is not very welcoming. View all feedback.
Good vegetarian food Différents option not provided for a normal price water The waitress is not so inviting
I had not been here in at least 5 years and found myself wanting food at night (All the normal great value buffet Jay restaurants tend to close early), this place is close to a hotel I have frequented for years so decided to drop in. Great ambience and wait staff. Clean healthy tasting Thai dishes. A modest dinner for two was 350BHT (About 11usd at time of writing). I feel the price for a night place with good service reasonable (sure the Thia vegan buffets are great value but close at two PM and honestly can be hit or miss).
Thamna is nestled only a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of Khao San Rd but seems like another world compared! Lovely minimal and modern interior with vintage crockery to go alongside an interesting menu. There’s a mix of Asian and western influenced food. We had the shiitake and cheese bread (120b), a coconut sour soup(100b) with vegetable balls and a Siamese curry. The black rice was hearty and the soups chocked with veggies. The mushroom and cheese was great as it’s very rare to find good real cheese in Asia, the shiitake was to die for! Huge fan and would definitely return! May be a bit pricey compared to street food but alright in terms of restaurant prices.
Cozy restaurant, my guess is that it is family owned. It has a variety of vegan options. The food is Thai and Western fusion. I recommend trying the grilled salad, very yummy juicy fresh vegetables grilled served with many herbs and spices.
I love this restaurant. It is near my office so I eat lunch here often. The food is always tasty, and I love the dense brown/purple rice which they serve with curries. I have tried several of the curries they are all good. The thai salads are also very good. I've even tried a pasta with thai style toppings of Asian mushrooms and chilli, and it was surprisingly good as well. It's refreshing to find a range of Thai dishes on the menu which are beyond the usual tourist restaurant offerings. My favourite dish may be the tofu salad uncooked soft tofu topped with seaweed and in a tasty soy based sauce. Very good and very healthy! Highly recommended.
